Pocket Inventory - Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection and Storage

1.1 Voluntarily Entered Business Data: Product names, inventory quantities, stock in/out records, price information and other data you enter while using the App are only used to implement core inventory management functions. All data is stored locally on your mobile device and will not be uploaded to the App's servers, third-party platforms, or cloud storage services.

1.2 Sensitive Information: The App collects your basic business-related information and device basic information. All collected information is stored locally on your mobile device only, will not be uploaded to any server, and will not be disclosed to any third party.

2. Permission Usage Instructions

2.1 Advertising-related: Third-party advertisements may be displayed in the App. During ad loading, the App may obtain device unique identifiers (such as OAID/AAID) only for ad delivery and attribution, without associating with your business data. You can turn off ad tracking through mobile settings, or choose to watch ads to get value-added services of the App. Ad display does not affect the use of core functions.

2.2 Contacts Permission: Applied only when you actively trigger the "Add Customers from Contacts" function. This permission is only used to read name and phone number information from your local device contacts to help you quickly enter customer information. All contact data is stored locally only and will not be uploaded to servers or shared with third parties.

2.3 Bluetooth Permission: Used to connect to Bluetooth printers for receipt printing. It is only enabled when you actively operate printing. This permission is only used to scan and pair surrounding Bluetooth printer devices, will not collect sensitive information such as MAC addresses of Bluetooth devices, and will not be used for positioning or other non-printing related purposes.

2.4 Location Permission: Due to Android system mechanism restrictions, Bluetooth device scanning requires location permission (no actual positioning required). This permission is only used to meet the permission verification requirements of system Bluetooth scanning. The App will not obtain, store or use your geographic location information, nor will it share location-related data with any third party.

2.5 Camera Permission: Applied only when you actively use the "Scan Barcode" function to identify barcodes/QR codes of products and orders for quick lookup of corresponding information. During the use of this permission, only the camera screen is temporarily called, no photos or videos are taken or stored, and no related data is uploaded.

2.6 Independent Permission Control: All permissions are optional. You can enable/disable them at any time in "Settings - Apps - Pocket Inventory - Permissions" on your mobile phone. Disabling permissions only affects the use of corresponding functions and does not affect the normal operation of the App's core inventory management functions.

3. Data Usage and Control Rights

3.1 Scope of Data Usage: Locally stored business data is only used for you to view, edit, and export inventory information. The App developer cannot view, access, or modify any of your local data.

3.2 Data Deletion: All application-related data stored on your device will be automatically and completely deleted and cannot be recovered after you uninstall the App.

3.3 Data Backup: The App does not provide automatic backup functionality. If you need to back up data, please manually export it to the local folder of your device.

4. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in accordance with business adjustments or regulatory requirements. The updated policy will be announced in the App, and your continued use of the App constitutes your agreement to the updated policy.
